Jiří Petržilka

Jiří started his career in banking, where he held a number of managerial positions in finance and project management. From 2014 to 2020 he worked at Prague Airport, where he was responsible for non-aeronautical business. He was also a member of the company’s Board of Directors for more than three years. From March 2020 he is responsible for all Menzies Aviation activities in the Czech Republic. He is the managing director of Menzies Aviation (Czech), s.r.o. and its affiliated company Czech GH, s.r.o. Since January 2023, his responsibilities within Central and Eastern Europe have expanded to include Hungary, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro. The basic vision he has defined for Menzies Aviation is to become the first choice not only for its customers, especially airlines, but also to be the first choice for its employees as the best employer in the aviation industry.

Station Manager Ground Handling
Petr joined Menzies Aviation in 1999. His first position was as an Aircraft Check-in Coordinator, where he gained a comprehensive overview of aircraft ground handling. Within this department he gradually worked his way up to Trainer and Supervisor. In 2015, he became Service Delivery Manager, from which he rose to the position of Operations Manager (2019-2021). In 2021, he was appointed Station Manager of Ground Handling, taking over responsibility for the whole of ground handling. Among his greatest achievements at Menzies, is the launch of our company’s ground handling in the post-covid era, which saw the largest ever return of air traffic, doubling not only flights but also employees, within a year; and successful startups with Delta Air Line, Flynas, Flyr and SalamAir to name a few.

Cargo Director
Ondřej has dedicated his entire career to working at the airport and has almost 30 years of experience in aviation. He joined Menzies Aviation in 1994, where he spent most of his time in ground handling and worked his way up through various positions – from Check-in Agent to Dispatch Supervisor and Trainer (1994 to 2004), Ramp Manager (2005-2011), Station Manager (2011-2019), General Manager to Director of Operations. All of these positions have provided him with extensive knowledge of aviation processes and the airport environment. Since 2021, he has been focusing exclusively on cargo, where he is responsible for operational and financial performance, service quality, operational safety, customer and employee satisfaction. His greatest achievements include three successful ISAGO audits, the acquisition of ground handling at Prague Airport and a number of successful startups with new customers, including British Airways, Emirates, Ryanair, Air Canada, United Airlines and Qatar Airway.

Head of HR Czech Republic
Zuzana has been working in HR for more than 15 years. She studied German in Pardubice, but eventually settled permanently in HR She has worked for Czech and foreign companies, where she had responsibility for setting up and implementing HR processes and systems. Zuzana joined Menzies Aviation in 2019 as an HR Business Partner and became Head of HR in 2021, leading the implementation of the new Kronos attendance technology. . In the Covid era, she managed to save a number of jobs thanks to a successful employee loan project, where our employees worked on the Covid frontline.. As flight volumes returned, Zuzana lead a successful recruitment campaign and managed to double the number of employees in the ground handling department to meet demand. One of her main priorities is to increase the engagement of our employees.

Ramp & Operations Manager
Tomáš found himself at Menzies Aviation by chance in 2004 when he returned from his studies in Australia and was looking for a job where he could use his English language skills. He spent 14 years as a Handling Agent Coordinator2004-2018) and gained valuable experience and insight into the handling of aircraft as well as other departments. In 2018, he moved from operations to the Supervisor of the Handling Agents team. Since the beginning of 2022, he has held the position of Ramp & Operations Manager and is responsible for the operation of the ramp (baggage loading, sorting) and operations (operational dispatching, load control and handling agents) departments. Thanks to Tomáš and his correct calculations and percentage estimates of future flights in the post-covid era, we were able to successfully resume our operations and recruit new employees.

Passenger Services Manager
Veronika’s career at Menzies Aviation started in 1994 as a Check-in Agent, two years later she moved to Check-in Management. In 1997, she merged Check-in Management with Load Control and “load” became her focus. She moved to Air Dispatch in 2007 but returned to Menzies in March 2014 as Supervisor Load Control and Dispatch as well as Weight & Balance Trainer. Getting all the necessary procedures up and running is one of her biggest achievements at Menzies. Another success is the introduction of the new Altea check-in system, which replaced the previous InkDCS system. In January 2022, she took up the position of Passenger Services Manager. Veronika is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the entire check-in department, billing, orders, passenger and airline complaints, and last but not least, the satisfaction of our employees.
